Flying insects

The need:

A range of winged insects, including flies, mosquitoes, moths, wasps and others, some of which are nocturnal and some of which are active during the day, common near standing water pools, waste collections and agricultural crops. These insects pose a nuisance and may transmit various diseases, such as eye and intestinal diseases. They have high potential for penetrating enclosed spaces, raw materials and finished products due to their size, attraction to light and flying ability.

Our solutions:
Control, monitoring and trapping activity using UV (ultraviolet) devices to monitor and trap flying insects with a sticky panel on the back of the device. Specialized devices for manufacturing, dining and storage areas without odors and without zapping sounds or scattering of insect remains. There are decorative solutions for hiding trapped insects. Installation of devices according to the professional team’s recommendation. There is an option for unique, high quality shatter / blast protected bulbs for use in sensitive areas. Another solution are high voltage UV devices that kill insects by burning when they make contact with the grille. These devices are not suitable for sterile environments, food manufacturing and preparation areas or particularly aesthetic areas due to the associated odor, noise of zapping and the danger of spread of insect particles. In certain places they may be used to cut operation and maintenance costs, because these devices do not need to have their sticky boards periodically replaced.

The devices are marked by a field agent using a unique barcode label and may be monitored through the monitoring and pest control apparatus at the company’s site. Other than this, field teams perform preventive servicing and pest control according to infestation levels and types of pests in buildings, in yard areas and in insect development places, placing a range of traps and using effective materials to eradicate them. At the end of each treatment, a detailed report is provided on the deficiencies and maintenance actions required to be performed as supplementary and corrective action, to get effective results over an extended period.
