Services | Flying Insects
The Pest:
Several types of winged insects, such as: flies, mosquitoes, moth, hornets etc. Some are active at night and during the day; they are common in standing water, garbage dumps and agricultural crops. Such insects are a nuisance and may pass on different diseases, such as eye and intestinal diseases. They have high permeability into confined spaces, raw materials and shelf products due to their size, their attraction to light and their flying ability.
Our Solutions:
Monitoring, prevention and trapping measures using UV (Ultraviolet) devices, known as flying insect trap are used in order to monitor and trap flying insects with a glue board that is situated on the back of the device. They are designed for production, dining and storage environments; they are odor free and do not make etching sounds or emit insect residue. Decorative solutions are available as well in order to conceal the trapped insects. The device will be installed if recommended by the professional staff. There is an option to install some unique fragment and explosion protected bulbs that are standardized and of high quality for sensitive areas. Another possible solution is an exterminator (a UV device with high voltage) that eliminates insects by burning them once they make contact with the "grill”. These devices are not suitable for sterile zones, production and food preparing areas, as well as extremely aesthetic areas, as they emit -odors, causing etching sounds and insect residue may be emitted. In some places, it would be possible to use them and save operational costs since these devices do not require periodic replacements of the glue boards.
The devices are marked by on-site representatives using a barcode labels and can be tracked using the monitoring and extermination system located at the Company's site. Furthermore, the field teams perform preventive treatments and exterminations according to the extent of the problem and the types of insects found in the buildings, yards and in places that constitute sources of developments for the insects. At the same time, the teams set up various traps and use effective insect-eliminating substances. At the end of each treatment, a report is submitted, detailing mishaps and maintenance procedures that required as complementary and corrective actions. The purpose is achieving improved results over time.
